Gangotri is a town located on the bank of Bhagirathi and Gongotri Temple is the highest Ganga Maya temple. Ganga River origin is Gomukh Glacier. It is also called Bhagirathi. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga Maya at a height of 3,415 m from the sea level. Here we have Gangotri Tour Package from Delhi to Delhi. GANGOTRI TEMPLE TOUR GUIDE
The holy place overlooks the thundering river Bhagirathi and flows between the rugged mountains; Gangotri is the spiritual source of India's holiest river Ganga. Here Ganga known as Bhagirathi, who performed sacrament to bring her down from the heavens. It is believed that bathing in her waters brings liberation from all sins committed in the present and past birth .The actual source is ice cave of Gamukh.
According to the legend, a Suryavanshi king Sagar performed an Ahwamedh yagna; his sixty thousand sons were conquering the states the horse had crossed. Threatened by this the rain god Indra stoled the horse, and tied it to kapil muni;s ashram. Sagar's sons followed the horse into the ashram and were disrespectful to the seer, who cursed them and all sons were to ashes, the king beseeched the seer for forgiveness, but the curse could not be reversed, however, seer suggested that if the holy Ganga the river of heaven, were to come to earth, the touch of her waters would ensure the deliverance of the princes. Many descendents of sagar failed to their efforts to bring the holy Ganga to earth, until Bhagirath was born. He persevered in his prayers until Ganga agreed to come down from the heavens, but such was her power that her decent to earth would destroy it, so Bhagirath prayed to lord Shiva, who agreed to contain Ganga in his locks, from where he released few drops of her celestial waters for the benefit of mankind. The river thus flowed on earth, cleansing all that was impure in her path, and delivering the son of sagar from the curse.

- • Remarks: Please give us a call on the given Emergency contact number after checking in to the hotel, to reconfirm your itinerary of your valuable stay with our company and update us with your hotel room number and local contact number if any, to make your stay with us a truly enjoyable and memorable one.
- • Delayed Arrival: Provide the copy of the Service Voucher to Tour guide/Driver at the start of service. In case you cannot arrive on the date expected, please notify us as soon as possible using the contact numbers mentioned above. If you do not arrive at the meeting point on time, the tour will depart and full cancellation charges will apply.
- • Our Company will not entertain any last minute changes for excursions. For any unavoidable circumstances, any changes in the tour date should be informed at least 24 hrs prior to the given timing. Our company may or may not be able to accommodate such changes, and these amendments are at the discretion of the management. Given timings for tour pickups are approximate hence guest should to inform their presence in the hotel lobby to hotel concierge staff. Tour Representatives will wait for max. 10 minutes for any pickup at the hotel; this is to avoid a delay in pickup for the next respective guest waiting for a pick up.
- • SIC Basis Tours & Transfers: If there will be a delay in the scheduled time of pickup (Maximum possibility of 10 to 15 minutes this could be due to bad traffic or a delay caused by another guest on the same tour). The tour co-ordinator will inform you about the same and the new pickup time to avoid maximum inconvenience.
- • PVT Tours & Transfers: If our Driver reach on time and guest will get delay (anyhow) so our schedule hours will be same and we will cut down something to recover the our schedule as some time guest feel as they have booked their Tour on Private Basis so they can use as per their requirement, yes they can but it should be done in our time period.
- • Force Majeure: We reserve the right to cancel any part or whole trip for reasons of government decisions, weather conditions and force majeure for which the clients will be offered an alternate date for the tour.
- • IMPORTANT Tips/Gratuities to tour Guides/Drivers for good service are not included. Partially or fully unused services in the itinerary are non-refundable. Most Meals at hotels and restaurants, unless specified otherwise in the itinerary, do not include drinking water, soft drinks or coffee or tea. These and any other beverages chargeable. Checkout and special departure notice is to be given to passengers by Tour Leaders, one or two days prior to the departure day. This notice provides a reminder of timings of baggage collection, hotel departure and other pertinent information. Emergencies - 24 hours mobile telephone numbers of Tours Reps are available to group leaders during the program duration.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- • 10% of the total package cost will be charged if cancellation is done between 30 days in advance of arrival.50% of the total package cost will be charged if cancellation is done between 15 days in advance of arrival. 100% of the total package cost will be charged if cancellation is done between 07 days in advance of arrival. No refunds for cancellations on booking for No refund will be entertained in case of unused nights or services / early check out. No refund will be entertained if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil / political disturbance, or anything beyond human control. But there will be full co- operation from the entire team to make an alternate arrangement in such cases.
- • CAB CANCELLATION PILICY : Advanced Payment not Refund If Booking Cancelled from Guest side in any condition or any Problem. No refund will be entertained if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil / political disturbance, or anything beyond human control.
