About Char Dham Yatra
Char Dhams are four pilgrimage sites located in the serene heights of the Great Himalayan range of Uttarakhand namely Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. All four shrines are located to different gods in Hindu mythology.

Yamunotri is dedicated to goddess Yamuna, Gangotri is dedicated to goddess Ganga, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is one of the Panch Kedars and one of the twelve Jyotirlings of India and Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

The Yatra starts from Yamunotri then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Throughout the journey you will get to see clean environment, high mountains, pure rivers making it a wonderful experience spiritually, religiously that will fill your soul and soothe your eyes.

Haridwar, Barkot and Garhwal Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Haridwar-Mussoorie-Barkot

Char Dham Yatra Ex-Haridwar 9 Night 10 Days

Arrival Haridwar pickup 10 am and depart for Barkot, Drive via Mussoorie sightseen and visit Kempt Falls on the way. On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your hotel/ camp. Rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot Hotel .

Day 2

Barkot– Yamunotri – Barkot (48 Km / 2 hrs & Start trek 05 KM Each Side)

A breakfast, depart for Hanumancha (40 Km), Janki Cha (8 km). Here you will begin the First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri (5 Km trek). You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cac and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri (al tude 3,291 m), the western most shrine of theChar Dhams, is dominated by Banderpunch (6,361 m). Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. The actual source of the river originates from Champasar Glacier 1 km a head of the shrine, at an al tude of 4,321 mts. On arrival by a ernoon in Yamunotri take holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja, and take the same route back to Barkot, check in at Hotel / Camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot Hotel..

Day 3

Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4–5 hrs)

Scenic drive along the Bhagirathi River
Visit: Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi
Overnight stay: Uttarkashi

Day 4

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Km / 3 to 4 hrs Each Side)

Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 . high structure made of white granite. A er performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi Hotel .

Delayed Arrival: Provide the copy of the Service Voucher to Tour guide/Driver at the start of service. In case you cannot arrive on the date expected, please notify us as soon as possible using the contact numbers mentioned above. If you do not arrive at the meeting point on time, the tour will depart and full cancellation charges will apply.
Our Company will not entertain any last minute changes for excursions. For any unavoidable circumstances, any changes in the tour date should be informed at least 24 hrs prior to the given timing. Our company may or may not be able to accommodate such changes, and these amendments are at the discretion of the management. Given timings for tour pickups are approximate hence guest should to inform their presence in the hotel lobby to hotel concierge staff. Tour Representatives will wait for max. 10 minutes for any pickup at the hotel; this is to avoid a delay in pickup for the next respective guest waiting for a pick up.
SIC Basis Tours & Transfers: If there will be a delay in the scheduled time of pickup (Maximum possibility of 10 to 15 minutes this could be due to bad traffic or a delay caused by another guest on the same tour). The tour co-ordinator will inform you about the same and the new pickup time to avoid maximum inconvenience.
PVT Tours & Transfers: If our Driver reach on time and guest will get delay (anyhow) so our schedule hours will be same and we will cut down something to recover the our schedule as some time guest feel as they have booked their Tour on Private Basis so they can use as per their requirement, yes they can but it should be done in our time period.
Force Majeure: We reserve the right to cancel any part or whole trip for reasons of government decisions, weather conditions and force majeure for which the clients will be offered an alternate date for the tour.
IMPORTANT Tips/Gratuities to tour Guides/Drivers for good service are not included. Partially or fully unused services in the itinerary are non-refundable. Most Meals at hotels and restaurants, unless specified otherwise in the itinerary, do not include drinking water, soft drinks or coffee or tea. These and any other beverages chargeable. Checkout and special departure notice is to be given to passengers by Tour Leaders, one or two days prior to the departure day. This notice provides a reminder of timings of baggage collection, hotel departure and other pertinent information. Emergencies - 24 hours mobile telephone numbers of Tours Reps are available to group leaders during the program duration.
